Brian Heapps – CLU, ChFC

Brian serves as Managing Partner and President of Edgewood Financial Network and is responsibility for strategic planning, advisor succession planning and  advisor growth. He joined Signator in 1987 as a financial advisor, and 10 years later founded Keystone Financial Management, an independent firm affiliated with Signator. He joined Signator’s home office in 2007, and became President and CEO in 2012. From there he divested to Edgewood Financial Network in 2017. Heapps was responsible for completing Signator’s transition from John Hancock’s career agency system to one of the industry’s largest fully independent broker-dealers, led two successful acquisitions, and spearheaded the development of Signator’s industry-leading advisor succession program.

Brian brings a hands-on approach to all Edgewood Advisors to evaluate the tools and services Advisors need to enhance and streamline their business. No stranger to Signator, he is uniquely qualified to assist Edgewood Advisors in the navigation of Signator systems. He brings a wealth of field and home office experience to Edgewood that will be crucial to leading us into the future.



Kimberly Korf

Kimberly M. Korf joined Edgewood Financial Network (formerly ORBA Financial Management) in 1998. Prior to switching her focus to branch supervision in 2007, Kimberly managed the ORBA Sales Support Team. Having focused on the sales and marketing prior to moving into compliance and supervision gives her a unique perspective on how to best communicate and work with the Representatives in the Edgewood branch.

As Managing Director and Senior Branch manager, Kimberly and her team provide information, resources, support and supervision to the Representatives and Advisors within the branch to help ensure they understand their compliance requirements as they relate to industry and B/D standards.

Kimberly is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento, and has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Strategic Management. Kimberly resides in Applegate, California with her husband, Rick and their three daughters, Meg, Sierra and Cheyenne. In her free time, she likes to let her artistic side loose welding junk metal into sculptures and garden art for indoors and outdoors.


Thera Engle – CWS®

Thera M. Engle  began her career in financial services in 1989 and has over twenty years of progressive experience in the field. She joined Edgewood Financial Network (formerly ORBA Financial Management) in March 1994 as a registered representative to assist with their current expansion efforts. She has a natural ability to interact, motivate and educate representatives effectively. She specializes in retirement planning, life insurance, advisory services and qualified plans.

She has served on the local and national board of directors for the Women in Financial Services Organization (WIFS) and currently a standing member.

Thera resides in Avondale, AZ with her husband Bill where they are leaders at their local church. She and Bill volunteer and help coordinate local Angel Tree efforts.

Will graduated from the University of Kansas in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and in 1987 he received his Masters degree in Administration from Webster University. After graduating from Kansas, he was commissioned in the US Air Force and retired as a Major in 1997. He entered the financial services industry in 1998 and has been a compliance officer ever since; supporting our financial advisors in the growth and servicing of their client base while also ensuring client interests remain the top priority.

In his spare time, Will enjoys working out, following his beloved Jayhawks and supports disabled veteran causes and the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging.

Adam Beck


Adam has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 2006, learning the profession inside and out as an administrative assistant, compliance specialist, and now assisting clients directly as an Investment Advisor Representative. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to rigorous analysis allows him to identify and implement planning opportunities ideally matched to a client’s portfolio.

Adam holds a B.S. in Finance from California State University, Sacramento, and maintains his Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses. He lives in Folsom, CA with his two cats and fiance, and is actively pursuing his degree in Masters of Business Administration.
